Another chance to see "Survive & Rescue."  What happens when our world is turned upside down?  At different times, all of us face huge and challenging changes in our lives; the media make it evident that natural and other disasters are increasing exponentially.  How do we survive disaster, natural and personal?  Our new dance/poetry piece seeks to answer that question. "Survive & Rescue" combines poetry, movement and music, involves five dancers and premiered here last May.

EnCore Performance Series is a delightful new performance series sponsored by Core Performance Company and held on the fourth Friday night of each month.  Several performances of different disciplines are featured each time, with other performers invited to drop in and sign up for the "open floor."  A chance to see exciting performace in a fun, informal, community atmosphere with Core doors open to the Square in downtown Decatur.  For more info, see www.coredance.org.
