Runyon will be the featured poet at a new performance series sponsored by Core Performance Company. She will read new poems as well as poems from her recent book, and her books will be for sale. Also on the bill will be musician Hiron Roy; in addition to featured artists, there is an "open floor" for artists who would like to sign up to perform (see below).

This performance series will happen every 4th Friday starting at 9:00pm, through November 2013 at CORE STUDIOS. June’s featured artists will include Hiron Roy, a composer/musician and band director for Good Golly Svengali performing a composed work for laptop, guitar, and saxophone, and Louise Runyon, who creates, performs and produces poetry and dance in Atlanta and Decatur, Georgia. She will be featuring some of her poetry for this month's EnCore. 8:45 pm Open Floor sign-ups, ALL performance styles welcome! Acts must be 8 minutes or less.
