Runyon will be reading from her recently published book, The Clearing, at this popular weekly poetry reading in Decatur.  Java Monkey Speaks begins and ends with an Open Mic, with a featured poet in the middle.  The Open Mic typically includes a wide range of poetry, from slam to academic, and is often outrageous!  Runyon will have books for sale.
