Runyon will perform her new dance/puppetry piece, "river, moon / wonder cover." This piece includes a paper garland, a dancer puppet, a silver moon, and magic shoes, exploring the primal question of "what lies within." It reveals the child inside the adult, the passionate woman inside a long dark cloak, other surprises...
Other artists performing at the New Dance Festival include Celeste Miller with Chip Epsten, Ella Johannaber, Dancing Flowers for Peace, Alex Spitzer, Jahara Phoenix Dance Company, Onur Topal-Sumer and D. Patton White/Beacon Dance.
