Louise Runyon, also a dancer/choreographer, has published three books of  poetry.  Based in time and space and laced with movement, her poetry reflects a dancer's sensibility and is grounded in observation of the natural world.  Artistic Director of Louise Runyon Performance Company, she has toured her solo performance Crones, Dolls and Raging Beauties around the nation.  She is also a practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method of movement education.

Thrower Starr has been writing poetry for 45 years.  His poetry draws on both nature and relationships.  He works at Paideia School as English teacher and as counselor, and is also a psychologist in private practice.  Long interested in men's work, for the past decade his English classes have been boys-only.  www.ThrowerStarr.com

Co-presented by Louise Runyon Performance Company and supported in part by Poets & Writers.
