Come enjoy Decatur Arts Festival and check out the dance performances!  I will present “Storm: Ode to Mickey N.,” inspired by the music of Mickey Newbury.  Newbury, an alternative country singer/songwriter who died in 2002, was known as the “Fifth Outlaw” along with Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings.  The piece is set deeply in Southern culture, reflecting pathos, heartbreak, pride and love of place, and explores the question of tragedy – is tragedy something from which we can recover, learn, move forward?  Other choreographers will present work, including D. Patton White, Jacqueline Woo, and Dancing Flowers for Peace.

I will come back to these lofty spaces, they're huge and open, and have really tall ceilings. Wait staff was also pretty good. Bartender was awesome and personable. I was really pleased with my party here. Ha! I highly recommend these guys.
